With so many teams,  players, and parents and coaches expected,  it is not possible for us to accept special scheduling requests.  Coaches with more than 1 team should have an assistant coach available  in the event that you have 2 teams playing at the same time

WRISTBANDS MUST BE WORN ALL THREE DAYS - Wristbands must be worn by all players in all games.   The wristbands will last throughout the weekend.  To get a replacements wristband bring the same credentials that were presented at Check-in to the Tournament HQ.  Replacement wristbands are $1

WAYS TO PREVENT DISPUTES ABOUT SCORE - All referees should be announcing the score to both teams after each goal is scored.  If your referee does not do that the coach should call out what he thinks the score is to the referee. That will bring any scoring discrepancies to light immediately 

QUALIFYING FOR KICKIT CHAMPIONSHIP IN JANUARY 2011 - The top 5 teams and ties in each division will qualify for the Kickit World Championships in January 2011.   The "and ties" means that large divisions that have quarterfinals will qualify all 8 of the team that advance to the quarterfinals    Breaking News! PLANS FOR SEVERE WEATHER -

We do not stop play just for rain.   If there is dangerous weather, especially the threat of lightning, the Disney folks will notify us all when to suspend play until it is safe to resume.  There is a complex wide sound system that will announce the stoppage of play and will tell teams where to go to seek shelter.  The all clear to resume play will be announced on the same system.  At that time teams are to return to the fields for the resumption of play.  There is time built into the schedule to allow for weather delays throughout the tournament.  While it is not expected to be necessary, the facilities are available on Monday August 2nd in the event of extreme weather delays

CREDENTIALS A reminder for all teams to keep  credentials (proof of age and identification for each player) available throughout the weekend so they can be presented if a player's eligibility is challenged

WAIVERS -  We have arranged for one waiver form which covers both the Disney and Challenge Sports waiver requirements. Each team must bring the original plus 1 copy of the form filled out for each player, the head coach and up to 2 assistant coaches.    When the waiver forms are turned in during check-in, the team will get one free admission pass for each waiver.  Failure to bring both the original and copy of the waiver  form will result in a significant delay in registration  for the team

CHECK-IN - All Teams must check-in Thursday July 29 at the main entrance to Wide World of Sports  The whole team does not have to attend check-in.  One person can check-in a team.   Click here for more details about check-in ***Adult OPEN Team Players must present an ID at check-in to confirm the identity of  the players.   Date of Birth Confirmation is not needed for teams playing as Adult OPEN Teams.  Players on teams in the Adult Over 30 Division must present proof of age at check-in  to show that they are 30 years old or older. When Drivers licenses are used for ID and proof of age, legible photo copies of the Drivers license is acceptable.

COMP vs REC - U9 and older teams must enter as COMP or REC based on the definition in item #10 of the 3v3 FAQ on our web site. U9 and older teams entering in the Rec Division must  present the Verification of Recreational Status (pdf)  (htm) form at check-in.  Teams  will not be allowed to play in U9 and older REC Divisions unless this form is turned in with all signatures.  Teams found to be playing illegally in a Rec Division will forfeit all of their matches and will not be eligible for a refund of any kind.

GENERATORS - Teams and spectators are not permitted to bring Generators of any kind into the park  

INELIGIBLE PLAYERS - Teams found to be playing with ineligible players (over age, comp player in Rec Division, non rostered players or players found to be on more than 1 team) will forfeit all games played with the ineligible player and may be disqualified from the tournament.

SCHEDULES - Schedules will be posted no later than Sunday July 25 before 10PM.   We can not accept special scheduling requests.  Games will start Friday July 30 at 8AM, Saturday July 31 at 7:30 and Sunday August 1 at 7:30.   In General, Pool Games will be played Friday and Saturday.  Some Bracket games will begin Saturday afternoon.  Most Bracket games will be played on Sunday August 1.

Most teams will play 1 or 2 Games on Friday and 1,2, or 3 on Saturday, and 1,2, or 3 on Sunday if they advance to bracket play.  Teams advancing to the Championship in large Divisions could play as many as 4 games on either Saturday or Sunday, but not both.

Teams are responsible for checking their schedules online before the tournament and after each game during the tournament.   Teams are expected to  know their own results as far as Game Points, Goal Differential, Goals Scored, and Goals allowed and report any discrepancies to the Score Center

TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS -  As in all Challenge 3v3 tournaments, each player on the tournament roster will receive a Tournament T-shirt.  Players only.

ADMISSION PASSES FOR COACHES AND PLAYERS -  Every player and coach will received a pass good for free admission to the facility at check-in.  The passes will be given out at the station when the Waiver forms are handed in. Each team is allowed passes for one head coach and 2 assistants. Submitting a waiver form for each coach will result in an admission pass for each coach.

CASTS -  We follow FYSA/USYSA guidelines for casts - Orthopedic casts are not permitted. Soft braces can be worn at the discretions of the referee with written approval from a doctor.

NO DUAL ROSTERING - Players may only play on one team in the tournament

Entered Teams will be able to withdraw for a refund any time before midnight July 16th.  Teams withdrawing after that date are not eligible for a refund  or credit.

Entries as of July 15 midnight.    This list represents the entries as submitted. These entries have not yet been verified.   The Challenge Sports Staff is reviewing all entries to verify eligibility. Entered teams will be added to this list until entries are closed on July 15 at midnight. 

Teams that qualify for Nationals in one of the  July 10/11 qualifiers will be eligible  to enter under the $40 early entry discount. 

For all others, the early entry discount ended on July 1.

This message is to all teams participating in the 2010 Challenge Sports 3v3 National Championship

All teams must check-in at the main entrance of the Wide World of Sports Thursday July 29 - 5 PM - 9 PM.

Be sure to review your required documents at the links below and make sure you are prepared when you arrive for check-in. Use the check-list (with links) provided below to verify you have everything you need for a quick and organized flow for check-in Thursday night.

_____     APPLICATION/ROSTER  - The Application you submitted defines your Official Roster for the tournament. If there are any changes to your original Roster (on your application) or if your original Roster was not complete (with all player information including birth date), all you need to do is Print a new application/roster fill out and bring it to check-in. You do not need to notify us in advance

_____    TWO - DISNEY SPORTS WAIVER FORMS for each player, Coach and Assistant Coach. 1 Original and 1 Copy. NOTE: Failure to have your copies will results in your check-in process being delayed while you have copies made and return to the end of the check-in line. _____   VERIFIED PROOF OF AGE for each player. (Tip: If using copy of birth certificates, highlight the child's name and date of birth.) (in English or with an English Translation, this is a requirement of FYSA  also). If using player FYSA player  passes and the pass say DOB not verified you will need another valid proof of age. Additional acceptable forms for proof of age passport, drivers license,state issued ID, Military ID. Your proof-of-age should be available at all times during the tournament.

_____    Verification of Recreational Status   - All U9 and Older REC teams must turn this form in at check-in. Teams   will not be allowed to play in U9 and older REC Divisions unless this form is turned in with all signatures.

_____    MEDICAL RELEASE FORM - OPTIONAL only - We will not be checking medical release forms at any time during the tournament.  However, Medical Release forms are recommended - they are important if a player under the age of 18, is injured and requires medical treatment and a parent or guardian will not be present to authorize treatment by a physician. These are for your safe keeping. Carry them with you at all times you are at the tournament.  .
